Falcon's March Hare provides a great introduction to Classic Trialling for new drivers and/or new cars. However, although non-damaging you can expect the organisers to provide enough of a challenge to provide even the most experienced competitors with a good days sport. There will be around 90 road miles with 14 sections, many on established tracks.

The organisers say :-

The history of the March Hare goes back to when the event was first run in 1958. The modern March Hare still uses some of the sections used in that first event. This year’s event follows the format of previous years events and will provide the competitor with an enjoyable days sport taking in the lovely Chiltern countryside. We aim to offer 13 competitive sections and two special tests, including two new Byway sections providing a challenge to both novice and experienced drivers.

The start is again at the Watling Street Truck Stop, close to the M1 at Junction 9, and we thank June Wynne for allowing us the use of the facilities. Food will be available in the morning. Trailers may be parked at the owners own risk.

The Finish will be at The Bull Inn, High Street Redbourn. Just a mile and a bit from the start. Food will be available at the finish but must be pre ordered on the entry form (see page 7).

This year’s event is again open to all members of clubs belonging to the ACTC, although this is not a championship round. The Club sport event is open to Club members and members of Stroud & District M.C., MGCC. VSCC., and the MCC who do not have a competition License.
